Cut Copy announce New Zealand show

Grammy-nominated Australian electro-pop outfit CUT COPYhave announced a New Zealand show as part of their massive world tour, coming to Auckland’s The Studio on January 24.

The band make their way to our shores in support of their fifth studio album, Haiku From Zero, that quickly made its way to #1 on both the Australian and US iTunes charts after its release in September.

Tickets go on sale at 2pm Monday, November 20.

With every track on the album recorded as a full-band affair with a view to playing live, the latest offering from the prolific band has been noted by Pitchfork as “polished synth-pop”, lending itself perfectly to their fluid up-beat live shows.

A truly global act, CUT COPY have made their way across the world over the last decade, having played over a thousand headlining tour dates, and have an ever-increasing number of festival appearances under their belt including slots at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound, Pitchfork, Splendour In The Grass, and Summer Sonic.
