Eden
Eden Robert’s songs are driven by uplifting melodies, delivered with passion and conviction by a glittery voice, at times possessing a raw bluesy feel. The acoustic guitar is a constant in Eden’s songs – maintaining her intimate folk singer/songwriter style when other elements such as electronic drums, synth, and electric guitar are added.
“A writer working in a new space” – Jordan Luck.
One listen to Eden’s debut EP Crying Birds tells us we are listening to an old soul.
Eden is the winner of the National Womans Musicianship Award SmokefreeRockquest 2011, Play It Strange Peace Song Award 2011, Stand Up Stand Out Instrumental Winner 2012.
The songs on Edens latest EP ‘Crying Birds‘ were written between January & June 2013.
Concept: “Usually cries of birds are short and simple. But the cries of birds mean a lot. They are used to communicate with one another and to inform one another about dangerous information. The cries of birds can express calling, warning, surprising and threatening. Sometimes it is very difficult to differentiate crying and singing” – Science Musuem of China.
