THEE RUM COVES – OUT TONIGHT E.P.

THEE RUM COVES – OUT TONIGHT E.P.

Auckland rockers Thee Rum Coves are pleased to release their forthcoming E.P. Out Tonight on May 26th 2017.

The band locked themselves in a room with nothing but a bottle of badly distilled gin, a British Freakbeat compilation and a tape recorder…

Eddie Castelow (Dictaphone Blues) came to the rescue, deciphering and shaping the mangled contents from his mezzanine studio at the Lab and successfully captured the intensity of this four piece at the top of their game. Influences shine through from the intense Who-inspired drums, catchy riffs and soaring harmonies of lead single ‘Over and Over’, to the Dr Feelgood energy of ‘Tell Me Something I Don’t Know’

With a new line up including Jake Harding, Tomas MarinTreye Liu on drums, and Jimmy Christmas on his first full Rum Coves recording, this incarnation have produced four catchy, powerful rock n soul tunes.

Out Tonight is released via Aeroplane Music Records and will be available for purchase from iTunes, Bandcamp and all good digital providers. CDs will be available from live shows and selected independent record stores.
