Acca Dacca – Live @ The Bruce Mason Centre
High Voltage Rock’n Roll – Acca Dacca live
When I heard Acca Dacca were coming to town, I leaped at the opportunity to shoot them at the Bruce Mason Theater. I saw them a few years ago and not much has changed, still tight as hard hitting. It was a shame ‘Angus’ dislocated his knee at the end of the first song by landing funny after a huge leap. He had to play the rest of the gig sitting down in a chair. Still, kudos for sticking in there and finishing the gig.
ACCA/DACCA replicate with precision not only the hard rock music of AC/DC note for note but front man Larry caps the show off with passionate vocals that you would mistake for Bon Scott himself. Switching to Brian Johnson isn’t a problem for this seasoned performer as he belts out classics from the “BACK IN BLACK” album to “BLACK ICE “. Brian would be proud to hear himself replicated with such precision and passion.
The ACCA/DACCA show is performed with a mega 25,000 watts of sound and a huge lighting rig plus special effects which make ACCA/DACCA look and MOST importantly sound like AC/DC themselves
