UVI announces Cinematic Shades, a new Falcon expansion delivering evocative and visceral textures, rhythms and ambient sounds for $39 | 39€
UVI releases the Cinematic Shades expansion pack for Falcon, available now for $39 / 39€. Cinematic Shades delivers 130 evocative and visceral patches made for composers and modern producers who need unique and powerful emotive elements for their productions. This pack, a joint collaboration from sound designers Richard Gale and Carlo de Gregorio, hybridizes acoustic recordings and numerous raw synthesis techniques including analog modelling, multi-granular and wavetable to create atmospheres, pads, textures, melodies, sequences, basses and cinematic elements ranging from brooding and ethereal to brazen avant-garde glitch.
Cinematic Shades’ presets are completely editable, making them equally useful as starting points or destinations. Pre-mapped macros provide creative modulation options and easy automation control tailored specifically to each patch. Sounds can be easily layered and animated in numerous ways to create completely unique soundscapes suitable for numerous uses from subtle accents to rich sonic environments.
Cinematic Shades leverages the advanced synthesis capabilities and software architecture of Falcon, with 15 oscillators, over 80 effects and a fast and intuitive interface that easily handles both basic tasks and deep instrument design. All presets have been programmed with macros which provide the user with easy access to the key parameters of each patch. These may be controlled via MIDI, OSC, host automation and Lua scripting, allowing for easy customization and expressive performance capabilities.
Cinematic Shades requires UVI Falcon. Falcon offers native 64-bit operation as a stand-alone application and is available as a plug-in supporting all popular formats on both Mac and Windows. Cinematic Shades supports simultaneous authorization on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.
